In 2012 I started to really find my sound as Rivet. While the 2011 releases were quite different from my output as Grovskopa, they still had both feet firmly planted in rhythm centered techno land.
In 2012 however, I ventured into melodic and (I guess?) housier territories. Somewhere I had been playing for years, but never had the courage to share with the hardcore listeners of my past.
After a decade of keeping this side of me in the shadows I was quite scared to share it, so I was really happy and in a way relieved that people actually seemed to "get it".

A truly remarkable album! I'd like to add that this is one of very few albums that I think truly sound better on vinyl, as it only enhances the intended experience. Every little bit seeps with atmosphere, like watching a dystopian, heavily grainy, space movie with ships surveying distant planets. That goes for the artwork as well, to which I'm sure everyone can agree, is the perfect marriage of both sound and visualization. Here's to hoping there'll be a 2846! Trisska
